My first papyrus paper, amazing beautiful painting of Nefertari

It is really amazing that ancient people have such a great wisdom & fine science and arts that we still don’t have. I have just received a very perfect and complete papyrus papers as a gift from one of my Egyptian friends. The paper was really amazing. Much stronger than our ordinary papers with a bright colored paint that seems impossible to reproduce with even the best laser printer in the world.

If you have not seen any papyrus paper before, you will be shocked when you first see it. You just can’t believe that old Egyptian peoples can produce such a fine product that our modern machines cant. This kind of papers was the second media in the history, next to stones.

My paper has a beautiful painting for queen Nefertari who was the Great Royal Wife of Rameses II. Once I see it, it catches my attention with its bright colorful paintings. That was a one of the rare times that I was really like a gift like this.

As far as I know, original papyrus papers are handmade in mother Egypt from a plant called Cyperus Papyrus. My Egyptian friend told me that I can fold the paper hard and it will return to its original shape easily. Also it doesn’t affected by water.

I really love this paper. I always appreciate the beautiful and handmade arts. It just shows you the wonderful abilities hidden inside humans. These ancient, hidden and beautiful arts like papyrus papers will always be prove that old civilizations has some arts & sciences that we still can even scratch. If you haven’t yet seen any papyrus painting in your life, then you must do so. You will be really shocked.
